Privacy Impact Assessments
The Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (the PRAC) is required to conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) for electronic information systems and collections. These assessments evaluate privacy and document any issues that have been identified and addressed.
The two PIAs conducted for the PRAC’s website, PandemicOversight.gov are:
- The Spending Information PIA that outlines the PandemicOversight.gov data sources, the reasons for collecting and displaying the data, and who has access to the data on PandemicOversight.gov.
- The Fraud Complaints PIA that outlines the data collected through the complaint reporting system, the reasons for the data collection, and who has access to the system based on role permissions.
