PRAC Releases Semiannual Report to Congress for October 1, 2021, through March 31, 2022
Michael E. Horowitz, Chair of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC), announced the release of the PRAC’s Semiannual Report to Congress. The report covers the period from October 1, 2021, through March 31, 2022. This is our fourth Semiannual Report to Congress since the PRAC was created in March 2020.

Two-Year Mark of the CARES Act and the Creation of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee
On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was enacted. It distributed $2.1 trillion to individuals, businesses, schools, and state and local governments to respond to the effects of the pandemic.
